Graf, Steffi 1969 - . German lawn-tennis player. Steffi Graf brought Martina Navratilova's long reign as the world's number-one female player to an end. Graf reached the semi-final of the US Open 1985 at the age of 16, and won five consecutive Grand Slam singles titles 1988-89. In 1994 she became the first defending Wimbledon ladies' singles champion to lose her title in the first round.
